San Francisco-based artist Jeremy Mann executes these sublime, moody cityscapes using oil paints. To create each work he relies on a wide range of techniques including surface staining, the use of solvents to wipe away paint, and the application of broad, gritty marks with an ink brayer. The resulting paintings are dark and atmospheric, urban streets seemingly drenched in rain and mystery. Mann’s work is in no way limited to cityscapes, he also paints the human figure, still lifes, and landscapes. He and some helpers spent 150 hours filling milk cartons with water and food coloring and then stacking the 500 brightly colored ice blocks to make this incredible rainbow effect igloo. Erik is completely self-taught in retouching his own photographs to make impossible and extraordinary images. He says his inspiration came from both growing up with a grandmother who painted and having a penchant for escaping into the other worlds of video games, so he naturally blended the two into a technique using computers to generate images that couldn’t be captured by a camera.

John enthrall color and texture sunset, patterns of lightning that it draws in the sky, majestic waterfalls and cosmic magnetism aurora. All this author has tried to reflect in their works, which combine the beauty of the female body with the magnificence of natural phenomena. To create fantastic landscapes John Poppleton uses temporary fluorescent dyes, which he decorates body models and photographs them in modest poses on a black background to create true works of art that are unique.
